International Conference «Technologies for Educational Integration» was held at the University

The International Practical and Scientific Conference «Technologies for Educational Integration» was held at Leonov University of Technology. This year the conference was held in partnership with the Institute of Pedagogical Research (Kazakhstan), Lovely Professional University (India) and Baranovichi State University (Belarus).

The conference was held for two days. The plenary session took place on the first day. It was opened by the Acting Rector of the University of Technology Vyacheslav Startsev. The General Director of the Institute of Pedagogical Research Gulnara Akhmetova, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Baranovichi State University Leonid Sotnik and Vice President of Lovely Professional University Aman Mittal also welcomed the participants online.

A special guest of the conference, who personally visited the University of Technology, was Mr. Timbkièta Daniel Sawadogo, Attachè for Culture and Education of the Embassy of Burkina Faso in Moscow. Before the start of the plenary session, he got acquainted with the equipment of the university and the Space Engineering and Technology College. During the conference he expressed hope for a successful start of cooperation, which in the future will allow the students of Burkina Faso to study at the University of Technology.

The plenary session of the conference was also attended by the representatives of the Russian State University for the Humanities, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, teachers and researchers of the University of Technology. They discussed current trends in global and Russian education, the issues of digitalization of the educational process, the development and use of artificial intelligence and new software products in education, and the expansion of additional educational programs. The participants exchanged experience in solving these issues and established contacts.

The work of the conference on the second day was held within the framework of thematic sections. In the sections «Modern Engineering Technologies: Education, Science, Business» and «Social and Humanitarian Knowledge in the Space of the Modern Information Society», 23 reports were presented in full-time and remote formats from the teachers of universities and schools of Russia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan. The participants shared with each other ideas on improving the quality of the educational process, introducing new educational methods and technologies, training specialists in technical specialties and career guidance work with schoolchildren.

The student section was of particular interest to the conference participants. 14 young researchers and student research teams from Russian, Belarusian and Chinese universities took part in it. They presented their developments of software and data products for use in industrial enterprises and financial organizations, projects on the use of artificial intelligence in the field of astronautics, methods for improving the efficiency of cybersecurity technologies, as well as conducting sociological research.

All conference participants expressed their interest in working on joint research projects and their desire to participate in the international conference of the University of Technology next year.
