«Experiment in Space»: the university students are the winners of the international competition

The project of the students of the College of Leonov University of Technology was among the best ones of the International Youth Competition «Experiment in Space. Cosmos for all-2023».

The competition was held with the aim of professional orientation and attraction of the talented students to participate in the exploration of space, as well as the support of those students. It was organized by the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Center for Additional Education «Future Cosmonauts» (Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization), the Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia, the International Informatization Academy, the Institute of Physics, Technology, Information Systems of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, the Mytishchi branch of Bauman University, Razumovsky Moscow State University of Technology and Management and Leonov University of Technology.

The students of major technical universities of Russia took part in the competition, as well as the students from Belarus. In total, about 30 reports were presented in the areas of «Life Science», «Advanced Technologies», «Physical and Technical Research», «Astrophysics, Geophysics, Aerospace, Space Physics», «Space Tourism» and «Space Science Fiction».

The students of the Space Engineering and Technology College of the University of Technology under the guidance of Ph. D. A. Eshanov presented their projects «Voice assistant in space», «Medical suit for astronauts», «Creation of cargo and passenger transport for space research», «Development of an archiving system for receiving stations of remote sensing satellites "ArcSat"», «Freedom from gravity: the influence of micro- and hypogravity on a person», which passed the qualifying round.

According to the results of the competition the project of the students Daniil Kazakov, Daniil Dovgan and Sofia Shvalova «Medical costume for astronauts» took the second place. The students were awarded the diplomas and valuable prizes.
