At the Leonov University of Technology, a meeting of the university foreign students, the citizens of Uzbekistan, with the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation took place.

The first secretaries of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Damir Mamatkulov and Zafar Rakhimzhanov told the students about the close Russian-Uzbek partnership in trade, healthcare, education and culture, noting that next 2022 will be marked by the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Uzbekistan.

The representatives of the Embassy paid special attention to the measures to support the students studying in Russia and their further employment in their homeland. Damir Mamatkulov stressed that Russia and Uzbekistan have agreed on the mutual recognition of higher education diplomas for full-time graduates. So, the citizens of Uzbekistan who are educated in Russia, upon returning to their homeland, will not need to undergo any procedures for nostrification of their diplomas. They will be able to start working without impediment, and the qualified specialists will be welcome in any sector of the country's economy.

The meeting was held in a dialogue format. The students were able to ask the Representatives of the Embassy the questions they are interested in and to receive the feedback.

At the end of the meeting the first secretaries of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan thanked the management of the University of Technology for the excellent professional training of their citizens and expressed their readiness to help the university in organizing cultural events in order to strengthen the friendship between the peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan.
